The Montecristo Cup & The Esencia Cup Golf Tournament,

19th April to 21st April 2012

Winter is here, but its warm in the caribbean. So its time to think about golf in the sun with cigars. Open to amateurs and professionals, this annual golf tournament is a lot of fun on a great course with players from everywhere on the globe. You can escape the chill and join me for three days of golf under clear blue skies on the seaside course at the Varadero Golf Club, located 75 miles east of Havana Airport and 10 minutes from our future Carbonera Club golf development and Varadero airport.

For the fourth year, we are pleased to bring you The Montecristo Cup Golf Tournament, together with Palmares SA, the organization responsible for golf development in Cuba and with whom we are partnered to develop golf resorts in Cuba.

Tony Jacklin CBE, the most successful British player of his generation and the most successful European Ryder Cup captain ever, is fond of the tournament:
