Event Overview:
- Event: IV Edition of The Montecristo & Esencia Cups Golf Tournament
- Place: Varadero Golf Club CUBA. Par 72
- One practice round and two rounds of competition
- Format: Medal Play - Handicap (0-13), Stableford - Handicap (14-26 Men / 14-30 Women)
- Starting Holes: 1 and 10, in foursomes
- USGA, ST Andrew and Varadero Golf Club local rules will be applied.
- Men and women will play in one category in the Tournament (except for The Longest Drive Award)
- There are no transfers provided between Havana and Varadero
- Registration Deadline: April 10th 2012
Thursday 19th April
- Practice Round and use of the Driving Range and Putting Green
- Practise balls, a shared golf cart and bag storage
- The Welcome cocktail party
- Rules of the tournament explained
Friday 20th and Saturday 21st April (Tournament Days)
- Players receive the welcome pack of tournament cap, balls and cigars
- Two rounds of Play to win The Montecristo Cup and The Esencia Cup
- A shared golf cart and club storage at the golf Club
- Men's & Women's Longest Drive and Closest to The Pin Awards
- Prize-giving and dinner on Saturday for players and their registered guests
Conditions of Entry:
- Offical certification of handicap is required and must be shown to the Club: 24 or less for men and 30 or less for women
- Players must be 18 or over
- Maximum of 120 participants on a first come, first registered basis
